Gupshup’s conversational commerce digitises guest experience at F&B outlets

Gupshup, a provider of conversational messaging solutions, announced that it has equipped hundreds of restaurant outlets across India with conversational commerce this year and has thousands more in the pipeline. Leveraging the Gupshup IP (GIP) messaging platform, the company provides F&B establishments the clout that conversational commerce provides to digitise the customer experience to order, pay and receive home delivery directly. This digital experience can be activated via a simple link sent in a message or for touchless table orders, via a QR-code.

Gupshup also provides restaurants with messaging-based marketing solutions to promote offers, specials and deals to their regular customers and has made restaurant management simpler with a mobile-based management tool. For restaurants, this means getting more direct business from customers,  implementing touchless dining for safety and owning their customer relationships through their own marketing efforts.

Brands including Hyatt Gurgaon, Holiday Inn, Radisson, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Jamie’s Pizzeria, London Bubble Co and Tea Junction have collaborated with Gupshup along with mid-sized chains and local stand-alone restaurants. The tech platform has partnered with delivery, digital payments and POS systems players to offer a seamless experience to restaurant owners and customers.

On the digital payment front, it has collaborated with Razorpay while for POS payments, it is associated with PetPooja, POSist and GoFrugal. For home deliveries, the company has partnered with Dunzo, Wefast and Pidge.

Launched recently, GIP enables interactive, conversational experiences and transactions on any device, without requiring an app download. This commerce enablement tool enables businesses to move from offline to online (o2o) offering advanced digital customer experiences for offline transactions.
