Urvashi Saikia has been appointed as the cluster Learning and Development Manager for the Grand Mercure Bangalore and Grand Mercure Mysore; part of the Accor portfolio in India.
With a career spanning over 14 years in hospitality management, Urvashi brings along a diverse experience across the human resources function with a specialisation towards learning and development. In her current role, Urvashi is responsible for the development and training of the hotel team.
Urvashi is innovative and dependable with excellent leadership skills who has experience in managing the human resources, pre-opening and post opening for hotels and restaurants with expertise knowledge of training & Employee engagement.
Prior to joining Grand Mercure Bangalore, Urvashi was the Learning & Development Manager at Novotel Ibis Chennai OMR and Novotel Chennai Sipcot. Her previous assignments include Taj Hotels, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, Clarks Exotica, The Park Hotels, Outrigger Hotels and Resorts and Onxy Hospitality.
Urvashi has avid interests in Yoga, cycling, badminton, trekking and gardening.
