Bird Group’s luxury hospitality brand has decided to tap the coworking market. In its Roseate House hotel in Aerocity, it has earmarked 30,000 sq ft of space for offer to individuals and companies on requirement basis, Ankur Bhatia, Bird Group’s executive director, said.
“The trend has changed a bit and though we had planned retail space earlier, keeping in mind the location of the hotel and requirement for the working space, we have decided to go for coworking space,” Bhatia told ET.
Bhatia said the coworking space, named Upstage Club, has been designed in 30,000 sq ft (including auditorium) to provide a luxury work environment. The club has two compact meeting halls, a boardroom and a bouquet of small meeting spaces and capsules to suit every need of members who choose to work out of this space.
