Sarovar Hotels has appointed S Karthikeyan as VP-Sales. An IIM Lucknow alumnus with over nine years experience in hospitality sales andmarketing, he will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing sales strategies at corporate and regional level and driving more business from existing as well as new markets.
Karthikeyan’s previous stint includes experience with ITC Hotels as Director of Sales and Marketing. He has handled roles ranging from growing legacy hotels to opening new ones. His roles included responsibilities of designing Sales & Marketing Strategy, Setting up Distribution Channels, Sales team management. He also has experience leading the regional sales team from the feeder market of Gurgaon for PAN India ITC hotels. His speciality in Sales includes B2B , corporate offline channels and e-commerce platforms.
Prior to joining ITC Hotels, Karthikeyan was a management consultant with Technopak advisors and has worked on numerous consulting projects. He is a Chief Minister’s state scholarship awardee for securing State rank in CAT 2008 in Haryana
