JW Brew

JW Marriott Bengaluru has launched the JW Brew microbrewery at the Merak lounge. Offering freshly brewed beers, the menu has been curated by brewmaster Kartik Singh. Bringing some exotic flavours, the variety includes its signature Belgian Witbier which is light and comes with a fruity orange and a hint of coriander with low bitterness, refreshing with a sweet and spice finish.

The American Style West Coast IPA, an orange coloured ale with a prominent and intense hops aroma; a citrusy, piney and fruity character derived from American hops, Winter Warmer which is the seasons special is a clear, amber-coloured spicy malt with flavours of sweet spices, dark fruit and malty sweetness and last but not the least, Kolsch, a smooth, light gold, low Pilsner malt with an aroma of delicate fruit with slight tones of bitterness and sweetness.

Merak, which offers Asian fare and exotic cocktails, is the perfect partner for cleverly pairing with crafty brews. From Tempuras, house-made nachos, Pan-fried Gyoza, Bao wraps, Gougère and the Witbier batter-fried coconut para, the culinary team has devised plans to make it a unique experience for every guest that walks in.

Although located inside Merak, the brews will be available across all the restaurants and banquets of the hotel. Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Sinha, Director of Operations at JW Marriott Bengaluru said, “A brewery amidst a tropical forest-like scenery, is definitely a rare sight and we are happy to be able to provide our customers just that. Located in the heart of the city, we want to make the micro-brewery a neighbourhood favourite in the coming days with our range of interesting brews with a seasonal special every few months.”
