Chef Dayashankar Sharma named London’s best Indian Chef 2021

The Asian & Oriental Chef Awards London 2021 was recently organised at the House of Lords, London where The Asian Catering Federation (ACF), felicitated many hospitality, services and supplier sectors. Four times Michelin Plate Winner Chef Dayashankar Sharma was awarded the Best Indian Chef of the Year Award London 2021 by the fraternity.

ACF recognised the achievements made by leading figures from ‘South Asians across the UK’. Chef Sharma, who was born and raised in a small village in Rajasthan, Bhojpura Kalan, was declared the Best Indian Chef of the Year Award for the second time.

After the opening of his new restaurant Heritage Dulwich during worst crisis the country’s hospitality sector is facing in living memory, he has proven that is not averse to facing challenges. This never-say-die attitude and his hardwork saw him bag London’s Best Newcomer 2021 award.

“It always feels great to be acknowledged by the fraternity. I am thankful to my homeland India for making me learn the essence of heritage recipes. Receiving this prestigious award motivates me more to work harder and take the Indian heritage food globally. I feel really honored that our newly opened restaurant Heritage Dulwich also got rewarded by ACF Team”, said Chef Sharma after receiving the award.
