Somaiah takes over from Biswajit Chakraborty who moves to Leela’s Mumbai property.

He has spent over 15 years with The Oberoi Group in several capacities including the general manager of The Cecil Oberoi in Shimla, and executive assistant manager of The Oberoi, Bengaluru.

He was also the general manager for Radisson MBD, Noida, and The Oakwood Premier Prestige.
