Tvara Tech Solutions has announced the launch of an interactive mobile solution. This can be deployed at restaurants, hotel rooms, and fleet vehicles, to allow consumers to directly access information through an intuitive touch screen interface.
Said Shyam Shetty, chief executive officer, Tvara Tech Solutions: “The overall solution is a combination of our proprietary mobile device, specialised software applications that are industry specific, and a hosted delivery framework for channelling advertising and cross-selling content and third party services into these mobile devices. For the hospitality industry, the application is a touch screen based food and beverage menu automation software that customers can use directly.”
Built on the Microsoft Dot Net platform, the solution is configurable and applicable across various hospitality segments, mainly fine and casual dining, pubs, and fast food chains. The company says the product will be deployed with its pilot customers this month, with an intention to go for mass deployment in June, 2010.
These devices can also be used in hotel rooms. “All features accessible from restaurant tabletops can be used here. Eventually, we will integrate various room specific automation solutions also into this device. This will be defined in our roadmap after our initial version,” Shetty added.
