Asia Luxury Travel Mart (ALTM), which will be held from June 14─17, 2010 in Shanghai, China, is to see strong Indian presence.

Cox & Kings India, Karnataka Tourism, MV Apsara, Soukya International Holistic Health Centre, Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces, the Leela Kempinski Goa, the Oberoi Gurgaon and the Windflower Spa & Resorts have already completed their online registration with the luxury trade event.

The invitation-only event which debuted in 2007 targets the region’s most VIP buyers through one-on-one prescheduled appointments over three days, under various categories of luxury travel including accommodation, transportation and unique travel experiences.

Silversea Cruises has confirmed its participation for the fourth consecutive year. “This is the fourth year Silversea will be exhibiting at ALTM and we are delighted to be taking a bigger and more prominent stand than before,” said senior vice president Steve Odell for Silversea Asia Pacific.

“Asia is increasingly contributing to the company’s overall business, particularly for our new expedition ship Prince Albert II where Asia represents 20% of the company’s regional business. China is our biggest market, followed by Hong Kong and Singapore,” he said.
