The 60 room palace is now open as a high end luxury Taj Falaknuma Palace. The scorpion shaped palace was earlier the royal home of the legendary Nizams of Hyderabad.
It took almost ten years for the entire restoration work to complete.
Built entirely of Italian marble, the building combines Tudor and Italian architecture. Its interior houses valuable pieces of art, ornate inlaid furniture from Kashmir, rich handcrafted French tapestries and frescos with Indian and English influences.
