New executive sous chef for Ista Hyderabad

Ista Hyderabad promoted by New Delhi-based IHHR Hospitality has announced the appointment of Chef Avijit Deb Sharma as their new Executive Sous Chef at the hotel.

In his role, he will be the second in command and will oversee the culinary operations at Ista Hyderabad.

At Ista Hyderabad Sous Chef Avijit will be responsible for maintaining the food standards, implementing new menus and standardizing the recipes in order to maintain the food quality.

Chef Avijit will also be accountable for the training and development of staff while coordinating with all the other departments on various operational engagements.

Chef Avijit started his career in 2002 with Oberoi Amarvillas. Prior to coming on board at Ista, Chef Avijit was with the Leela Hotels, where he was a part of the opening team of the Leela Palace, Udaipur and the Leela Palace, Bangalore as Chef-in-Charge of one of the finest dining restaurant named ‘Royal Club’.
