The industry needs to think about energy conservation, water energy costs and carbon footprints. This is where the company sees the big opportunity, he added.

Operating costs in hotels are traditionally high – partly due to the environmental and security requirements – and this means increased energy use.
Hotels are complex facilities with large fluctuations in occupancy: reception areas, restaurants, conference rooms, offices, housekeeping, fitness centers and spas all have different requirements.”
