Since our foray into the Indian market in 2007, we have a good mix of multi-national as well as Indian companies, including several hotel chains including groups like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Marriott, Radisson, The Leela, Hilton, Sterling Resorts, Club Mahindra Resorts, to name a few. The hospitality sector contributes to about 50% to our sales revenue.

It is still in its growth phase.Though, with the rising number of entrants, lucrative business opportunities for equipment manufacturers and suppliers is going up. We have observed a tremendous change in the outlook of investors and customers towards the hygiene factor. Though several hotels have been buying our dishwashers for a few decades now, the potential of the market is yet to be tapped.

Personal contact with our prospective and existing clients is the most important activity for our team. We actively participate in exhibitions and trade shows to enhance our visibility in the market. We advertise in trade magazines to maximize our reach. Regular & informative interaction with kitchen consultants, planners and executive chefs in ensured by sharing presentations, catalogues, technical details.
How has your expertise enhanced the functions of hotel chains?
Winterhalter has made large investments in devising a solution for reducing the amount of energy, water, detergent, and rinse-aid required for commercial dishwashing. The investment resulted in an Intelligent Resource Technology concept, aimed at developing machines that deliver the best results while being eco-friendly. We also offer after sales service support. Winterhalter India has developed its own service team and have service partners across the country to provide quick and efficient service to our installed base. The trained engineers provide onsite training to clients for optimum utilisation.
