He is a hard- core operations specialist, involved in business and brand equity turnaround of all properties under his charge. Conceptualized and launched the award winning “Karavalli” restaurant at the gateway Bangalore. “Karavalli” is recognized as the best of best in India coastal cuisine over the last 30 years. Mohan Kumar also initiated “Home Food by Home Makers” moment in the gateway hotels employing skilled housewives part time to propagate homemade food at five star hotels for the first time.
