SMOOR has unveiled a largest destination – SMOOR Experience Centre; India’s largest and first-of-its-kind, consumer-facing Chocolate Factory Experience in Bengaluru. As the brand marks its 10-year milestone, it opens a 68,000 sq. ft. living museum of cocoa – an immersive, end-to-end chocolate destination that integrates manufacturing, R&D, experiential retail, and hospitality under one roof.
Key highlights of the SMOOR Experience Centre
The 68,000 sq. ft. SMOOR Experience Centre includes a consumer-facing chocolate factory with guided tours, a dedicated chocolate lab demonstrating key production processes, and a 2,200 sq. ft. café with 60 covers. Equipped with machinery sourced from Germany, Italy, and India, the facility can host around 350 visitors per day and is built to expand to 120,000 sq. ft. in the coming years.
A first for India’s F&B and hospitality ecosystem
The Experience Centre brings together manufacturing, R&D, retail, and hospitality within a single integrated space. Visitors can participate in hands-on experiences such as creating their own chocolate bars, explore guided Indian cocoa tasting sessions, and attend chef-led workshops and masterclasses focused on chocolate craft.
A global vision for Indian chocolate
Speaking on the launch, Founder & CEO of SMOOR – Vimal Sharma shared, “Our ambition was clear — to create a chocolate destination in India that could stand alongside the world’s most iconic chocolate houses. This is our statement that India is ready for chocolate experiences at a global benchmark.”
