Flurys, the iconic tearoom and patisserie established in 1927 and part of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited, opens a new chapter that connects its 98-year-old heritage with today’s youthful energy. In collaboration with maximalist illustrator, visual artist, and fashion designer Srishti Gupta Roy, the brand unveils a playful, design-driven celebration featuring limited-time treats, merchandise, and immersive in-store experiences.
A sweet collaboration of art and flavour
The collaboration brings specially curated additions to the menu — including six cookies and a signature cake adorned with edible prints of Srishti’s vibrant illustrations. Each creation reflects the spirit of newness while paying homage to the tearoom’s enduring charm.
Lifestyle merchandise with a nostalgic twist
The limited-edition Flurys x Srishti lifestyle collection features tote bags, T-shirts, caps, coffee flasks, and postcards that reinterpret the brand’s heritage through a bold, modern lens. Drawing inspiration from retro tech elements like digi-cams and flip phones, the designs celebrate the bridge between vintage nostalgia and today’s digital-age creativity.
A whimsical in-store experience
The Flurys Experience adds an interactive edge to the celebration, featuring a photo booth, wheel of fortune, and art-inspired table mats, inviting guests to engage with the brand in new and playful ways.
Honouring tradition, embracing new voices
“Flurys has been a beloved name for generations, and this partnership celebrates that legacy while embracing a new, youthful energy,” said Rajesh Singh, National Head – Operations and Development, Flurys. “The merchandise line is a natural evolution of the brand: playful, expressive, and deeply connected to how today’s audiences experience culture.”
A full-circle moment for the artist
“I am incredibly honoured and overjoyed to be part of Flurys’ debut artist collaboration,” said Srishti Gupta Roy, illustrator and designer. “The brief was to disrupt, very much in the spirit of Gen Z — bold, bright, loud, and unapologetic, yet respectful to the heritage. We even moved away from the signature Flurys pink to jolt the system.”
