Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, oversees both Operations and Development across a dynamic portfolio of 173 hotels in India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. In this pivotal role, he is responsible for aligning growth with operational performance, accelerating conversions and openings, deepening owner partnerships, and strengthening leadership across some of Marriott’s most important and fast-growing markets.
With nearly three decades of experience across hotel operations, consulting, and development, Kiran began his career with the Oberoi Group and IHCL, before moving into consulting with HVS India and EY Dubai, covering the Middle East.
Kiran joined Marriott International in 2006 as part of the Development, Planning & Feasibility team and has played a key role in driving the company’s growth strategy over the past 19 years. As Senior Vice President – Development, he achieved record milestones, including signing more than 220 hotels in South Asia and sealing a landmark deal with Concept Hospitality to affiliate The Fern’s 115-property portfolio with Series by Marriott. In 2024, his team recorded 42 hotel signings totalling 7,000 rooms, expanding Marriott’s footprint into Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
