Bhavana Menon is Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal

Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal has appointed Bhavana Menon as Director of Sales. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad and then pursued a B.A (Hons) in hotel management from Aurangabad’s Institute of Hotel Management. She completed a dissertation on “‘Should I Share My Knowledge?’ A Case Study in the Indian Hotels Company Limited”, which was approved by University of Huddersfield, U.K. Menon has worked with various Marriott International brands in executive positions like sales manager, senior sales manager and associate director of sales. Her last assignment was with JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru in the capacity of associate director of sales.
Through her career, Menon has observed the hospitality market, identified trends and monitored competitors which has helped her hone her sales strategising skills and climb the corporate ladder at a young age. In her role at the hotel, she will lead the management staff in planning sales objectives and directing sales force activities to maximise profit and achieve targets.
