Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield appoints Sudip Misra as Executive Chef

Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has appointed Chef Sudip Misra as Executive Chef. He was earlier the executive sous chef at the JW Marriott Kolkata. A student from Chennai’s IHM, Misra trained in kitchen management from the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) and joined Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Mumbai as junior sous chef in 1998. He later moved to Spain, then New Zealand working as a chef at La Finca Restaurant and at Malabar Restaurant Hanmer Springs, respectively. He launched his own entrepreneurial venture in 2007, continuring it for nine years before returning to India. During this time, Misra trained himself in modern culinary styles and methods by working with Chef Alvin Leung at Bo Innovation, Hong Kong, a 3-Michelin Star modern Chinese restaurant and Chef Julien Royer Of Odette, formerly head Chef OF Jaan Singapore in 2013
