Trident BKC cycles towards health awareness

Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai will be the hospitality sponsor for the forthcoming Mumbai Cyclothon – Tour de Mumbai – to be held on the February 21.

The event is being conducted by Sport18, the sports marketing division of the Network18 group; ID Sports, a sports management company; TI Cycles; and Being Human – the Salman Khan Foundation that is the principal partner of Mumbai Cyclothon.

“It is a medical fact that cycling exercises the heart better than walking. Commuting using a bicycle involves little or no cost, and also reduces pollution, which fits in well with our company’s commitment to promote environmentally friendly processes. Keeping these benefits in mind, we have chosen to partner with the event. I am sure it will go a long way towards raising awareness about cycling and good health, and also promote the concept of a cleaner, greener Mumbai,” said Visheshwar Raj Singh, general manager, Trident Bandra Kurla.

The event will coincide with the Mumbai chapter of the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon – Mumbai 2010.
