Sharad Datta has joined the 269-room Westin Mumbai Garden City as General Manager. He was earlier general manager at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad. An alumnus of Mumbai’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Datta commenced his career with F&B operations before his first assignment as general manager with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. In the past two decades he has represented brands like Marriott International, Hyatt International, Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and has worked for Raj Vilas Jaipur, Radisson New Delhi, Trident Kochi and Taj Lands End.
