Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, the hotel management company in India, has signed a joint venture (JV) with Marasa Hospitality Pvt Ltd, part of the Africa based Madhavani Group, to open hotels in religious destinations across India.
The two groups have already signed up for opening hotels in Rajkot, Tirupati, Bodhgaya and Rishikesh. All four hotels will have well appointed rooms, restaurants, lounges, banquet halls and other facilities conforming to the 3-star international standards.
Other locations being explored for setting up hotels under this tie-up are Varanasi, Dharamsala and Puri. In the next five years, Sarovar Hotels and Marasa Hospitality plan to mark their foot prints across all religious and pilgrimage destinations within India.

As part of the tie-up, Sarovar Hotels will provide technical assistance from start to finish of all these projects besides managing the hotel operations and marketing them.
