The unfortunate Punjab Hotel & Restaurant in Lal Chowk, Srinagar has become the biggest victim of the day long seige between terrorists and security forces.
The four storey structure is now without its wooden roof and portion of one side has collapsed. Images taken this morning show the hotel as smouldering ruin with all windows blow out and collapsed upper floors.
The Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association will be doing a site visit later today to assess the situation in its effort to the owner, Mohd. Sharief.
