Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced Palazzo Versace Dubai as the Best New Hotel Opening 2016 winner. This newly-launched award follows the first annual Preferred Awards of Excellence presented during the closing ceremony of the 2016 Preferred Global Conference held in Dubai.

To qualify for this innovative award, hotels were required to rank among the top in their region as part of the bespoke Preferred Hotels & Resorts Integrated Quality Assurance Program, which factors the results of a professional on-site inspection and real-time guest feedback from the world’s top consumer review sites, and actively engages in their partnership with Preferred Hotels & Resorts. The winner were then expected to exceed all expectations for a newly-established hotel.
