Nakul Anand takes over as HAI president

Nakul Anand, divisional chief of ITC’s hotel business has taken over as president of the Hotel Association of India. He replaces Priya Paul, long standing HAI president and chairperson of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels.

Most of the new four person managing committee remain the same with only Rupak Gupta, executive director at UP Hotels being the new addition.

Ajoy Misra, senior vice-president of sales & marketing at Indian Hotels moves from honorary treasurer to honorary secretary. He switches roles with Vikramjit Singh Oberoi, joint managing director at EIH.

These changes came about at the tweflth AGM held in Delhi last evening. Anand’s term is for the regulation two years.
