Marriott is 4th best place to work in India

Marriott has been ranked as the 4th best place to work in India in 2010. The ranking has been conferred by the ‘Great Place to Work’ institute, India in partnership with The Economic Times.

The group has also been recognised as being the No 1 Hospitality Company to work for in India from amongst 15 other hotel chains in the country.

Rajeev Menon, AVP – India, Malaysia, Maldives & Pakistan, Marriott said,” The well being and growth of our employees has always been at the heart of all that Marriott strives to do. We believe our associates are our greatest strength; it is a principal that is lived and practiced by Marriott across the world.”

According to the survey, Marriott employees enjoy being a part of the group. Two thirds of the number of people questioned agreed to that.

The ‘Great Place To Work’ institute has been conducting workplace studies and recognizing the best companies in India for the past 7 years.

427 companies registered to participate in the study this year out of which 395 met the eligibility requirements. These were Indian and multi-national companies in the private sector and also in the public sector and non-profit organizations.
