Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, announced its official hospitality partnership for the fifth consecutive year with the India Art Fair, South Asia’s largest contemporary art fair. The Le Meridien Hub at the Art Fair site in New Delhi, converted into an interactive space with a diverse experience from Le Meridien destinations in India. The Hub saw the unique synchronisation of music, cuisine & art from the local markets of Le Meridien’s cities such as Coimbatore, Kochi, Jaipur, Chennai and Nagpur.
“We are pleased to partner with the India Art Fair for the fifth year,” expressed Tarun Thakral, Chief Operating Officer, Le Méridien New Delhi. “This year, we showcased a unique culmination of art and spirit of the local streets through a graffiti wall, street music & food. This art put together by artist Sankha Samanta that inspired guests at the Hub to explore their Creative side. The event also included street food from destinations of five Le Meridien locations in India. We were also delighted to host the closing gala of the festival, which is highlighted in the city’s social and cultural calendar.”
On Friday, February 3rd, visitors gathered at ‘The Hub’ to experience a ‘Street Fair’ atmosphere- with music, art and street foods from cities with Le Meridien hotels across India.

The closing party on Sunday night played host to some of the greatest artists, dignitaries and socialites at the Le Meridien New Delhi. The highlight of the night was an intriguing act by the famous Nukkad Natak troupe that had the audience enthralled throughout the performance
