Ibiza The Fern Resort & Spa opens in Kolkata

The Fern Hotels & Resorts, an environmentally sensitive hotel chain, has opened Ibiza The Fern Resort & Spa, Kolkata.  Spread across 20 acres, the resort has 110 rooms in five categories, including the 1100 square feet duplex Winter Green Premium rooms.

The property’s indoor events space, measuring 5000 square feet, is ideal for conferences and cocktail dinners, while the 45,000 square feet lawns can be for weddings and other larger events. The dining options for guests include Dolce Vita, a multi-cuisine restaurant and a poolside bar. The hotel also provides a plethora of indoor and outdoor activities, like rock climbing, rappelling, gun shooting, etc.

Suhail Kannampilly, COO of The Fern Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are proud to open Ibiza, taking the tally of hotels managed by our company to 52. We are trying to consolidate our position in the eastern part of the country, and our company will manage few more hotels in the near future,” he added.
