Hyatt Regency Delhi awarded LEED Platinum certification

Hyatt Regency Delhi is first Hyatt hotel in over 700 global properties to receive this green building certification

Hyatt Regency Delhi, the flagship luxury five star property of Hyatt in India, has been certified as Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the body that certifies all LEED projects globally. It is the first Hyatt hotel in over 700 properties across the world and one of the few hotels in Delhi to receive this green building certification.
During a ceremony at Hyatt Regency Delhi, the internationally recognized LEED plaque and certificate were presented to Shiv Jatia, CMD, Asian Hotels (North) by Gopalakrishnan P, MD, Asia Pacific and Middle East, GBCI.
Speaking on the occasion, Aseem Kapoor, general manager, Hyatt Regency Delhi said, “With this, Hyatt Regency Delhi establishes itself as one of the few global leaders for energy and environment design.”
