Hotelier poll: 80% say Wi-fi in hotels is basic

(NULL)

A month-long online poll conducted by HotelierIndia.com, has revealed that 80% of people in the hospitality industry feel that free Wi-fi is a basic necessity in hotels.

In addition, 16% said that it should “really” be free and not factored into the room rate, a practice that several hotels, claiming to offer free Wi-fi, follow.

No one (0%) felt that the issue ‘did not matter’ with only 4% saying that Wi-Fi should not be free and was a premium luxury in India.
