Innovative menu creations, leadership qualities and a character as happy in front-of-house, conversing with diners, as he is in the back-of-house, creating new dishes are the attributes required of our chef of the year. Menu examples and details of innovations, in terms of dishes and restaurant interior and ambiance, instigated by the chef are welcome.
