Marriott International has appointed Gaurav Singh as Multi Property General Manager for Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Rajajinagar. His career began with the Marriott family in the year 2013, prior to which he worked with ITC, Oberoi and the Leela Group of Hotels. In his most recent position, he was the ‘General Manager’ of Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott, leading both the hotels to an astounding success.
Under his leadership, the one year old twin property was recognized at HICSA 2016 and HIFI 2016 and was also awarded the ‘Most Preferred Emerging Hotel of the Year’ at the National Awards for Excellence in 2016.
Even amidst most challenging market conditions, Singh has earned a huge reputation for his business acumen and creative flair in food and beverage industry. He has been the recipient of several awards like, ‘General Manager for Excellence in F&B’ in 2013 and 14 by Marriott Asia Pacific and most recently was awarded Hotelier India’s ‘General Manager of the year’ 2016’. Singh graduated from Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal and then went to complete his Post Graduation Diploma in Hotel Management from ITC Hospitality Management Institute (WMI), Gurgaon.
