First Conrad hotel to open in NYC

Conrad Hotels & Resorts will open in New York in the fourth quarter of 2011. It will be the first Conrad hotel in New York City and the fifth in the United States of America. 

The hotel will be situated at 102 North End Avenue on the banks of the Hudson River and east of the new Freedom Tower.

The hotel will feature a 15-story atrium and dramatic Sol LeWitt art piece rising 13 floors above the check-in desk.

It will also include upscale dining and beverage facilities.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Office dA and Remedios Studios, are the interior designers.
