BARCODE ECONYL MODULAR CARPET
The Danish carpet producer ege has developed a new carpet collection, Barcode Econyl 70 modular, based on sustainable principles and simple lines. With a content of minimum 70% recycled material, ege has created a carpet concept that enables for architects, designers and decision-makers to choose green design with a clear conscience for the floor when designing the interior of hotel premises.
The collection consists of 12 different colour combinations designed with a dark base combined with modern, prominent stripes reminiscent of the strict lines familiar from barcodes. Together, the colours and patterns in the collection create a minimalist look. The tiles can be used to create modern rooms with character, in terms of both design and environment.
The products are approved in accordance with the Danish Building Rating System and meet demand of the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Buzzizone is an acoustic, half high, freestanding wall that won already the ‘Brussels Design Award for Best Belgian Product’. The combination of its light weight and its simplicity to install, make the buzzizone a perfect solution for both working and private areas, using it as a kidscorner, working spot, memowall, noise absorber and so much more. BUZZILIGHT
Buzzlilight from Tecnospace is a large round light fixture with a different colour of felt on either side. An acoustical lantern made of upcycled felt with double faced colours and with a flexible shape to be defined by its users. This acoustical light object can be delivered in both pendant and standing version. The user can choose which colour to put on the outside and how high or how wide he wants to have it and change this at any time.
The Buzzilight is made of recycled PET-waste (grey felt) combined with 100% natural coloured woolfelt, folded around a pure aluminium structure. And so it contributes to keeping our environment clean.

BINAY FLOOD LIGHT
Binay 49-LED white flood light is an eco-friendly ‘Green’ light having a wattage consumption of around 65 watts, and has been essentially designed for flood lighting and spot lighting applications.
The light could be used for highlighting the exterior of hotel building facades from the bottom to upwards.
This provides a low power (65W), long-life (100,000 hours), zero-maintenance alternative to replace the high power (500W or more) metal halide luminaries which are normally used for this application.
These lights are completely shock-resistant and vibration proof due to its solid-state LED construction. They can withstand large variation in voltage input without change in light output.

‘CONVERT’ MODULAR CARPET
InterfaceFlor India Pvt Ltd has recently launched its Convert collection. Convert is a new category of modular carpet – the first one that is manufactured with a full colour spectrum of post consumer (recycled) yarn, harvested through InterfaceFlor’s ReEntry 2.0 recycling programme. With this technology, InterfaceFlor is aggressively recycling both its own as well as its competitors’ old carpets.
Designed by David Oakey, the Convert collection shows how beautiful recycled content can be – old dirty carpets transformed into sophisticated and appealing designs.
The Convert range has 13 patterns in four to 24 colourways and will now be available to customers in India.
