Asahi Kasei has launched its customer-centric brand campaign titled ‘share the praise’, a first for the Japanese brand, in India. It is dedicated to customers who helped the brand become the country’s most preferred brand in its category.
The campaign revolves around appreciating and encouraging customers to share a fond memory where they accomplished something thanks to another person, much like the praise they have shared during the pandemic.
Asahi Kasei aims to capture stories of celebrities and loyal customers who use its products and encourage others to do the same, to build a community of goodwill in this otherwise ‘trollsome internet’.
The first step in this campaign is a film featuring celebrities like Chef Ranveer Brar, actor Neha Dhupia, actor Shreya Chaudhry of Bandish Bandits fame and wedding planner Prerita Puri. They will be seen exchanging stories of their success and sharing the praise with someone close to them who helped them achieve this excellence.
Luve Oberoi, Marketing Manager-India for Asahi Kasei said, “As a brand, our prime focus is to preserve food and keep it fresh longer, help avoid food wastage, and support oil-free cooking for a healthy lifestyle via our premium products. By combining convenience and good health, we became sous chefs for the daily needs of customers, while also preserving their taste and cooking habits. In this campaign, we wanted to appreciate our Indian consumers who helped us achieve our company vision to ensure India eats nutritiously and well.”
The premium wrap and foil brand first entered India in 2014 and currently, the company manufactures three main food – Premium Wrap, Frying Pan Foil, and Cooking Sheet. The Japanese have used these products for over half a century, which is a testament to their utility and quality.
