The St. Regis Goa Resort is slated to unveil its revitalized spaces in a modernist and luxurious format towards the end of 2023 and the team will play a crucial role in communicating a compelling brand narrative across all platforms.
Gargi Guha, Director of Marketing & Communications
With more than two decades of cumulative experience in sales and marketing, Gargi Guha joins The St. Regis Goa Resort. She is a communications specialist and will oversee the entire Marketing function.
Part of the pre-opening teams of Park Hyatt Chennai and more recently Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, Gargi has worked with Marriott International earlier, with the Ritz-Carlton brand in Bangalore.
Gargi will be largely responsible for the resort’s positioning as the country’s first St. Regis Resort and will leverage the brand’s legacy in delivering its messaging as a luxury brand.
She writes articles for several publications on her areas of interest which include Italian wine, food and travel, and is also a certified WSET Level 2 and has an MBA from the University of Wales.
Sandhya Sharma, Associate Director of Marketing
Sandhya’s current role is informed by the valued learnings of her past stint as Digital Client Services Manager of the Marriot Digital Services (MDS) team. She is a marketer with a strong leaning towards digital.
An ace Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM), Sandhya has had a rich experience working closely with hotels in the Marriott and Hilton brand portfolio in the APEC and North American Market, mostly from the vantage point of being an agency champion.
Sandhya has a keen savvy in digital disciplines including SEO, Paid Media, and Social Media and has had a track record of steering customers towards booking on direct online channels.
Before joining The St. Regis Goa Resort, Sandhya was in a Corporate Marketing role managing Kaldan Samudhra Luxury Palace Hotel, Chennai and other Accord brands.
She is armed with an Engineering and MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and loves travel, poetry writing and blogging.
Bijo Thomas, Digital Marketing Manager
Bijo Thomas has been handling all aspects of Marketing at The St. Regis Goa Resort and has been a key player in the resort’s branding since October 2022.
Bijo is proficient in web based solutions, OTA management, performance marketing etc but enjoys handling social media the most, often getting deeply involved in the content creation – from ideation to execution stages, scripting, directing, and also shooting videos.
Before joining The St. Regis Goa Resort, Bijo has had experiences handling marketing functions in several global brands like Hilton, Hyatt and other brands of Marriott International.
A musician at heart, Bijo is a songwriter and vocalist who can be found toggling between different instruments when not crafting content for the next campaign.
He has a Masters in Media & Communication from Christ University in Bangalore.
