Taj Mahal Palace to reopen on Independence day

The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai is ready to reopen its doors to its admirers and patrons on the August 15, 2010, to celebrate Independence Day.

The Taj Group opens in new splendour for all travellers to the Indian metropolis of Mumbai.

The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel underwent massive renovation and reconstruction work after the terrorist attacks.

The hotel has the same legendary oriental style in its century old façade, there are a number of changes and additions made on the inside.

Also scheduled to open shortly as per the hotel sources are the 46 elegant and lavish suites.

The hotel sources confirm that the Presidential suite and the Rajput suite will be reopened soon. A date has not been announced by the hotel as yet.

Booking channels for the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel’s newly renovated palace wing are now open for booking.
