Suman Julka has been appointed as director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon. She started her career as a member of Grand Hyatt Delhi’s pre-opening team in 1999 and later moved to Hyatt Regency Kathmandu and then to Hyatt Regency Delhi as catering sales manager. Her last assignment was complex director of catering sales for The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna Spa and Resort in 2010.
In her new capacity, Julka will be responsible for leading the Hyatt Regency Gurgaon’s sales and marketing, revenue and event teams besides developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the hotel’s objectives. Talking about her appointment, she said, “I am fortunate to be a part of pre-opening for three different Hyatt Hotels. I started my career with Hyatt and have spent a decade with Hyatt in different capacities and four different Hyatt Hotels.”
