Ateeb Shrestha has been appointed to the role of general manager at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam. Shrestha graduated with a Bachelor in Business Studies in Nepal, then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management in Glion, Switzerland. He brings more than 14 years of experience covering rooms, resident manager and general manager assignments with Gangtey Goenpa Lodge in Bhutan, Nira Resort in Mauritius, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and The Nam Hai Resort in Vietnam, The Setai in Miami and The Chedi in Muscat to name just a few.
“Shrestha came on board as resort manager in September 2016. In a very short period of time, he successfully embraced the vision and values of Six Senses,” said Henry Gray, vice president operations of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas. “In the absence of a general manager he emerged as a great team player, engaging in dynamic interactions with all levels of hosts, ownership and guests. He has also spearheaded our group initiative, Sleep With Six Senses, very successfully at the resort.”
