HVS India announces management changes

HVS India managing director Manav Thadani has been appointed chairman of HVS India. Thadani has been head of HVS India for 14 years in the managing director capacity. In his role as chairman he will mentor all existing and developing business of HVS in India. Some of his new responsibilities will include the expansion of HVS Eco Services to other HVS offices around the globe. He is also already involved in ensuring expanding HVS brands in Asia and other regions. Thadani will continue to play host to Hotel Investment Conference – South Asia (HICSA) and Hotel Operation Summit India (HOSI).

Kaushik Varharajan is now managing director of HVS Consulting & Valuation services. Vadharajan has spent over a decade with the company, starting out at its New York office. He has spent the past two years at HVS India. His years at HVS correspond to over 1,000 assignments across the world. Vadharajan is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is also part of the Valuation Working Committee of RICS, which is responsible for establishing professional standards for property valuations in India.

Natwar Nagar is managing director of HVS Executive Search – he was also the founding principal of this business when it was set up nearly 10 years ago. Nagar established the search practice of HVS India.

Siddharth Thaker is managing director of HVS Asset Management & Operational Advisory Services, the newest addition to the HVS India bouquet. Siddharth joined HVS seven years ago as a young consultant who, according to a statement by HVS, challenged the way things were done at HVS India in many ways. After running the consulting practice along with Manav Thadani, he has chosen to take the reins of this 18-month old division which HVS India sees as brimming with potential.
