We see 2023 as a big step forward to make our operations more sustainable and to become the best eco-friendly and sustainable resort in Chennai – from building an infrastructure for electric vehicles to charge to going 100% green relying only on wind and solar energy.

As part of our Marriott Server 360 initiative, our commitment towards sustainability will not only help in reducing costs but also win businesses, as more and more travellers now consider environmentally sustainable practices as the biggest deciding factor when booking travel accommodations.

Thanks to our grand infrastructure and amenities, there is a vast amount of water and waste generation but since the beginning of our pre-commencement phase, we have worked hard on several aspects of making this resort an environmentally sustainable tourist destination by building various infrastructures to support this endeavour.

As we move towards a brighter and a greener future, it’s our responsibility to make a better generation for our kids and our family. A commitment towards wind and other clean, renewable energy will help end our reliance on fossil fuels and help in combating the severe threat to our climate change.

Also, on the trends that we see for the market, it continues to grow and global travel becomes more affordable, there is going to be a great influx of travellers and much more opportunities to grow in the hotel business arena.
