Atmosphere Core on an expansion spree in India; announces ninth resort

Atmosphere Core has signed a Hotel Management Agreement with Zoom Nirman Private Limited to establish a luxury resort in Kurseong, located in the Darjeeling Hills of West Bengal.

Atmosphere Core, a prominent player in the hospitality sector, has signed a Hotel Management Agreement with “Zoom Nirman Private Limited” to establish a luxury resort in Kurseong, located in the Darjeeling Hills of West Bengal. This pivotal agreement comes hot on the heels of Atmosphere Core’s recent revelation of eight new properties in October 2023, marking the company’s expanding presence across India.

The operational resort, presently known as Allita Hotels & Resorts, with 35 keys, is poised for a significant transformation. Enhancements will include the addition of 75 keys, featuring a total of 110 keys with private pool villas and luxury suites and an impressive 40,000 square feet of event space.

The design philosophy will revolve around harmoniously blending modern aesthetics with local influences to showcase breathtaking views of Himalayan pine forests and lush tea gardens. Guests will be able to take delight in a range of amenities, including all-day dining, specialty restaurants, a themed bar, a temperature-controlled swimming pool, and the premium ELEINA Spa.

Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director of Atmosphere Core – India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, & Bhutan, stated, “I am delighted to share the exciting news of our inaugural venture in North Bengal. The enchanting locale of Kurseong in Darjeeling Hills holds immense promise, and Allita Hotels & Resort stands out as an outstanding property with the potential to be among the finest in the entire Darjeeling Hills. My sincere gratitude goes to Mehul Parekh, Director of Zoom Nirman Private Limited, for the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful and enduring partnership.”
