Fishlee seeking fresh capital of INR 12 crore

The QSR chain that offers seafood-based meals will use these funds for regional expansion and investment into new types of food technology

Fishlee is breaking the predominance of chicken as the meat of choice for non-vegetarians.

Fishlee is looking at raising fresh capital of INR 12 crore to help the brand in regional expansion. It will also invest the funds in new kinds of food technology to enhance customer satisfaction.

Currently, Fishlee has outlets in Delhi, Chandigarh, Mohali, Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Noida, Ludhiana, Barnala, Sangrur, Moga, and Amritsar. Abdullah Mushtaq, Founder, Fishlee said, “We have plans for pan-India expansion. However, before that, we would like to expand in the northern region of India.”

Fishlee was designed to bridge this gap with flavorful fish-based menu with viable pricing.

Fishlee is a fish-based QSR breaking the predominance of chicken as the meat of choice for non-vegetarians. Till now, for consumers and seafood lovers who appreciate fish, only high-end food or nearby joints were the main two choices, and a fast, sterile western plan that serves fish was absent.

The brand offers a wide arrangement of fish-based foods including fish ‘n’ chips, French-style Brioche burgers to Coastal Fish Curries to prawn-based dishes. “We serve only the freshest seafood from squeaky-clean waters around the country plus premium quality seasonal items, artistically prepared and presented,” Mushtaq added.
