Organic food startup, Earthy Tales, collaborated with Prabhaav Foundation, and undertook a food distribution for COVID-19 in NCR recently.
Considering food security and relief as its primary goal, the organization along with its customer community and friends, raised funds to support the New Delhi-based NGO to support marginalised sections of society. It was able to provide over 7000 plus cooked meals in various slums in Delhi.
Narinder Sondhi, Co-Founder, Earthy Tales stated that these meals were prepared at a cloud kitchen in Gurgaon under hygienic conditions where safety protocols were diligently followed.
Recognising the need to support front line workers, the startup also partnered with the local administration and police to provide them with sanitisation kits. This included essentials like PPEs, masks, sanitisers and gloves.
Earthy Tales works with farmers who follow organic protocols to deliver chemical-free food to health-conscious customers in the NCR area. Currently, the company claims to home deliver around 300 products across 15 plus food categories to around 3000 Families in Delhi-NCR.
