Hershey India is distributing one million products, include Hershey’s Milkshake, Hershey’s Spreads, Hershey’s Syrup and Sofit Soya Milk, amongst healthcare workers, police forces, frontline workers and the daily-wage community.

It has also contributed $50,000 towards providing relief to hospitals and support COVID-19 warriors in the country. The funds have been utilised to partner with NGOs including Give India and the Milaap foundation to help hospitals procure medical equipment and to support local NGOs such as Hemkunt Foundation, KVN Foundation and SaveLife Foundation.

Herjit Bhalla, VP, India and AEMEA (Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa), Hershey India said, “The second wave of COVID-19 caused an alarming health crisis across India and the world. The nation’s frontline workers are everyday bravely fighting the pandemic to keep us all safe. The need of the hour now is for everyone to stand together and support the communities that need the most care in these trying times. This is a small gesture of gratitude and support by Hershey India. We applaud the frontline Covid warriors for their relentless support to save the precious lives of our people and we will continue to extend our support in this war against the pandemic.”
