The Fern Samali Resort Dapoli undertakes beach cleaning drive

Staffers collected close to 200 kg of plastic and other waste materials strewn across the Ladghar beach

The Fern Samali Resort, Dapoli carried out a beach cleaning exercise at Ladghar beach near the resort and collected close to 200 kg of plastic and other waste materials that were strewn across the beach, the GM of The Fern Samali Resort, Dinesh Kumar Yadav said.

The entire activity was carried out by the green team members of the resort. The staff members collected plastic bottles, wrappers etc for more than three hours to make the beach look beautiful and plastic-free, Dinesh informed.

“The beaches are the biggest attraction at Dapoli, and it is our duty to preserve them so that people who visit Dapoli can enjoy the pristine beaches, he said.  We would be glad to carry out such activities from time to time so that our surroundings are plastic and litter-free. We want to spread the message of the importance of keeping our beaches pollution-free,” he added.
