The home-grown brand has a total of 19 properties under its banner. To commemorate its silver year, a special day of entertainment and activities took place at the hotel. Indie band Vaja – Joint by the Sea played out some English and Tamil numbers, fashion shows, musical and dance performances by the staff and carnival games.
An incredibly special segment of the evening was dedicated to recognising those who have gone that extra mile on the job. The awards section allowed those who have performed exceptionally over the years to have their moment in front of their friends, families, colleagues, Chairman and MDs of the GRT group along with GRT Hotels and Resorts’ Deputy MD T Nataraajan, CEO Vikram Cotah, and other distinguished guests and dignitaries.
