IFCA calls for guest writers for annual souvenir

The IFCA has put an open call to industry professionals, more so chefs, to contribute 10 articles to their to annual conference souvenir. IFCA is planning a 120 page souvenir for this year’s conference in Hyderabad from November 14-16.

The word count of each feature article should be either 600 (One page) or 1,000 words (Two pages). “We hope the industry steps forward because we will circulate this souvenir to WACS member countries giving the authors a global audience. It will also be part of the delegate kit and we expect to print 15,000 copies,” said chef Soundararajan P, general secretary, IFCA.

The theme of the 2009 souvenir is Thought for Food – II. With this in mind, IFCA is looking to cover issues ranging from F&B marketing, food trends, instant cooking, slow cooking, the art and the cultural impact of food to foreign foods and preferably issues that are new.

The final submission date is October 15, 2009.
