The culture of Mahindra Rise veers towards being sensitive to issues of sustainability and to giving back to the society in the best way possible.
The importance of receiving this award is immense. It would help me to outshine in my chosen field of work — sustainability in the hospitality industry.
My biggest inspiration in this journey has been the teachings offered by the Mahindra Rise Sustainability framework, which would read like this: “Give back more than we take”.
The focus is on achieving carbon neutrality, becoming water positive, ensuring no waste goes to the landfills, protecting biodiversity and growing green revenue. There is a whole lot of things that can be done to achieve sustainability and green goals.
