The ‘HR Person of the Year’ award at the 11th Hotelier India Awards 2019 in economy to budget category went to Anupriya Nag from Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bengaluru Racecourse. Here, is a short excerpt where we get to know a bit more about to Anupriya as she shares her thoughts on Hotelier India.
I have always dreamt of winning the Hotelier India Award and I am glad that I got recognised for my workplace accomplishments. This is a result of a strong team who supported and motivated me to achieve my targets and goals.
I have successfully trained myself to be the best fit for the company and utilised my knowledge to yield the best outcomes. My experience across a vast spectrum of hotels has helped – from managing and operating hotel to pre-opening a 360-rooms inventory hotel, or converting an existing hotel into a full service brand without hindering the operations.
My biggest support is my family. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve anything in life.
The realm of human resources is a complex one. Every issue is unique, even if they seem similar, and every solution is contextual and not readily reusable.
My winning mantra is very simple, I am committed to excellence. Everyday, I try to become a much more accomplished woman by delivering excellence at work.
Working in an esteemed organisation with a positive environment can be rewarding.
The next five years will hopefully take me to a place where I can cherish my achievements.
